As the Technical Operations in-charge of Wi-Fi and CDMA Packet Core platforms deployed at various geographic locations in India for the Data services of TATA Teleservices Ltd, my major responsibilities are ensuring 100% uptime at service level and 99.99% uptime at node level by pro-active O&M methodology, ensuring that network KPIs and KQIs are met on a daily basis, ensuring compliance to all the mandates from regulatory agencies such ad TRAI and DoT, coordinating with third party network security specialists for conducting periodic security audits and correcting the gaps found in VA and PT analysis. Coordination with Network Planning team for implementation of new nodes and configuration changes on existing nodes. Coordination with Business team for modification of existing products and services. Being the subject matter experts, my team's responsibilities also include a faster resolution of all customer complaints related to CDMA Data, escalated to us through CSD or NOC teams. Coordination with node vendors such as Cisco, Amdocs and HP for AMCs, correction of issues which can be rectified only by product vendor as well as for new upgrades on the nodes.

Responsibilities include rigorous testing of any new technology, product, upgrade or software patch before it is implemented in TTL network on both circuit and packet core nodes such as PDSN, AAA, SGSN, GGSN, HLR, TDM MSC, Soft Switch and STP. Expertise in Packet Data, SS7, SIGTRAN, SIP protocols. Proficient with GSM/CDMA Circuit Core (Ericsson AXE810, Huawei and ZTE products), HLR, STP, SMSC and other VAS products.

Worked in the Network Operations Centre of Reliance Infocomm, New Mumbai in Fault management team of MSCs. Worked on Lucent 5ESS DCS, ECP and Ericsson AXE810 switches. Responsibilities include monitoring of the alarms on MSCs of Reliance Infocomm deployed across the country and taking the first level corrective action, coordination with SMEs and the local technical team if the issue is not resolved with L1 intervention.

Operation and maintenence of GSM MSCs (AXE10), BSCs and HLRs of Ericsson make. Verification of customer complaints due to technical problems, escalated by call centre team and customer care outlets across Karnataka. Modification of B-number analysis and GTT tables in MSCs. Addition of new cell sites to the BSCs and configuration changes as per the inputs from Network Planning team. Generating the KPI reports and analyzing the network performance. Preparation of MIS reports and sharing with all stake holders such as finance team and business team and customer service delivery team.
