Wastewater Treatment Operator
CurrentOperation through PLC and SCADA online monitoring system for ETP with Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) treatment system. Operate and maintain the equipments, such as Flocculator, clarifiers, MBBR, Biological activated sludge process, Diffused Air Floatation system (DAF), UF, RO, MEE and ATFD. Sludge handling and disposal: Centrifuge-Decanter, Belt and Bellmer filter Press Control equipment and monitor processes that remove or destroy harmful materials, chemicals, and suspended solids from wastewater. Read and record meters and gauges in shift log book to make sure that plant equipment is working properly. Run operations of the effluent treatment plant to meet minimum/maximum requirements as per in-house regulations. Strict adherence to all safety requirements in the ETP. Ensure to follow standard operating procedures at all times while on duty. Monitor all parameters pertaining to wastewater (pH, TSS, TDS, turbidity, BOD and COD) and effluent disposal to conform to TNPCB and CPCB standards. Ensure proper dosing schedules for the ETP Plant are adhered to in order to conform to In-house standards. Make timely, accurate and cost-effective decisions pertaining to all matters of ETP. Keen to understand new technologies to achieve the cost effective treatment Make inventory of all ETP chemicals and be in charge of ETP stores. Initiates procurement of effluent treatment chemicals.
