Responsibility : Review Architecture Design | Solve Performance Issues | Device Continuous Integration Setup | Delivery ManagementKey Activities:1. Analyze and incorporate necessary Code changes for migrating from Fuse ESB container to Fabric.2. Architecture changes to host the application blueprint bundles into Fabric containers.3. Externalizing the Broker from within the application containers to create a common Broker setup and giving it a cluster backup in addition.4. Using Zookeeper for managing the Fabric registry.5. Performance Analysis and Troubleshootinga. Issue with Container going down frequently.b. Issue with Root Container losing connectivity with the Child Container (containing the application blueprint bundles).c. Large # of threads getting created.6. Setting up “Continuous Integration” and Automation of build & deployment of blueprint bundles into the Fabric Container using Jenkins, Groovy, Ruby and Shell Scripts.

Project Objective : Rapid Development of a Store plus DC Blended WMS system for a “Concept DC” proposed by the leading Retailer in the World. Responsibility : Architecture Design | Technical & Functional Design Review | Code Review |Groom Project Teams into Next Gen WMS Frameworks | Delivery Management in an Agile-waterfall Wedded SDLC Model.Key Activities:1. Requirements Analysis.2. Rapid paced design and development of the system in a short period of 8 weeks targeting 100+ user stories with a team size of 20 members.3. Rewrite ESQLC Functionalities from existing system into Java.4. The Implementations built in the system should be available for consumption both in the form of services and in the form of code ready for retrofit into the Next Generation WMS Project Code base built in parallel from client side.5. New System should be able to bridge and bring in the efficiency of Inventory handling of a DC with the easiness available in the stores systems w.r.t Order processing and Order Fulfillment Business Processes.

Project Objective : Build a High Performance Warehouse Management System for a High Volume Dot Com Distribution Center for a leading Retailer in the World.Responsibility : Architecture Design | Technical & Functional Design Review | Code Review| Groom Project Teams into Next Gen WMS Frameworks | Delivery Management in an Agile-waterfall Wedded SDLC Model.Key Activities:1. Requirements Analysis.2. End to End Architecture Design for the new system proposed to be built on top of an In-house built Warehouse Management System.3. Functional and Technical Design Documentation and Review.4. Multitier Caching Solution Design.5. Rewrite ESQLC Functionalities from existing system into Java.6. Design and Develop Interfaces for App Integration between WMS and Third Party Mechanization System.7. Design and Develop Implementations catering to the project unsaid goal of ready lift and direct import into the Next Generation WMS that’s being built by the Client in parallel. 8. The Business Implementations built in the system should be available for consumption both in the form of services and in the form of code ready for retrofit into the Next Generation WMS Project Code base.9. System should be able to process close to 2-3 times of Customer Orders which the DC currently handles.10. Build Artificial Intelligence into the system for efficient Item handling inside the DC based on sales trend detection.

Project Objective : Design and Develop Next Generation WMS by rationalizing the Business Processes of 10+ Market types, plus a complete End to End Tech Stack Modernization in a full-fledged AGILE Delivery model.Responsibility : Technical & Functional Design |App Development | Code Review Key Activities:1. Research and Adapt new tech-frameworks and new solutions in market on areas of Server Side Programming and UI frameworks. 2. Review Architecture and Design Proposals from other Scrum Teams.3. Requirement Analysis on Rationalized Business Functionalities.4. Devise Technical and Functional Design Solutions and prepare fully qualified Design Documentations with UML representations comprising Structure diagrams, Sequence diagrams, ERDs, DFDs etc. 5. Incorporate and Follow Domain Driven Design Methodology and Test Driven Design Approaches during design and development phases. Context Diagrams and Domain Models are additional Design documentations based for the Domain Driven Design Approach.6. Develop Business Logics and Rest Enabled Service Implementations for Business Functionalities. 7. Evaluate and handle Systems Performance at Services level and at different layers of the service implementations namely Domain, Web, and Repo.

Project Objective : YMS & Third-party Systems Integration for Automated Refrigeration Control in Trailers. Responsibility : Architecture Design | Technical & Functional Design |Code Review Key Activities:1. Gather Data Contract details for Inbound and Outbound Interfaces from Third Party system owners.2. Gather Functional Requirements from YMS Business Owners.3. Design System Integration Architecture covering the YMS, the Third Party Refrigeration Control System and other Walmart systems.4. Propose the design to accommodate the Third Party System’s login mechanism inside the existing Single Sign on security mechanism available in YMS.5. Develop thin Interfacing layer on the YMS app side to hold the RESTful Services for sharing Data with the Third Party system and Rest Clients for fetching data from the Third Party System.6. Real Time System Integration for testing the End to End work flow of the new feature.7. Pilot and Production Rollout of the new feature to existing Grocery DCs.

Project Objective : Rollout the YMS application into the 145+ Distribution Centers. Develop enhancements to the YMS application and performance tune the reporting module of the YMS application.Responsibility : Lead a 4 member team across 2 shifts to perform the application rollout and do performance analysis and tuning of the Reporting Module.Key Activities:1. Coordinate with Business Teams and DC operations and schedule App Rollouts.2. Coordinate with Infra Teams and install necessary hardware and software for the Application. 3. Perform Soft launch prior to actual go live.4. Shutdown of the legacy YMS and Perform Bulk Data Migration of user and business setup data.5. Perform Pre-install setup activities. 6. Run data load scripts to load master/static data into the fresh Db installation.7. Coordinate the entire go-live activity and validations with the Business Teams and DC operations.8. Performance analyze the YMS application from heapdumps using IBM Heap Analyzer and other tools.9. Identify Memory Leaks and fix them.10. Identify processes with higher throughput time and tune the modules for better performance.11. Team was credited for modifying the design approach for the reporting module and thereby reducing the total throughput time from 24 secs to 4 secs.

Project Objective : Design and Develop a Yard Management System for managing the movement of Trailers inside the Distribution Center’s Yard for a Leading Retailer.Responsibility : Requirement Analysis |Design Approach Preparation| Technical & Functional Design Documentation | Development of the Interfaces Module. Key Activities:1. Analyze Requirements of the Yard Management System. 2. Create Design approaches for Rcvg, Shipping, Gate-in, Gate-out and Interfaces modules.3. Prepare Design Documentations for the Application Interfaces.4. Prepare Design Documentations for the Application Modules.5. Develop Interface modules in diverse technologies, includes SOAP WS, Messaging Queue, FTP, SMTP.6. Develop Front end UI in JSP and Struts MVC and Back end Server components in EJB and WebServices for the Web App part of the application.
