  I am a certified counsellor practicing since 2010 with several organisations in Bangalore. I have also worked in Shanghai while residing there. Over a period of one year, I had helped staff a “Youth Child Helpline” in Bangalore, meant to reduce stress amongst young adults and children. This was a new initiative managed under the Parivarthan umbrella, in which I was involved from the beginning including raising the first investment tranche, collected through a community effort. This helpline has flourished providing help and succor to hundreds so far and also covered by Chai With Lakshmi.I have worked with a few Corporations, Start-Ups & Educational institutions (eg: Logica, ConnectM) and dealt with workplace-related issues, cross-cultural clients including expats, referred to me in Bangalore and Shanghai.I believe in using the ideology of a “Client Centric approach”, to help enable the client take steps themselves in overcoming challenges - it promotes self reliance and reduces dependency on the counsellor.I am a trained counsellor from Parivarthan Counselling Training and Research Centre, Bangalore. I have done my Masters in Clinical Psychology. Parivarthan is one of the leading non profit organisations in Bangalore in the field of Counseling and Psychotherapy. Parivarthan is an organizational member of the British Association for Counseling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am trained in Integral Somatic Psychology (ISP) by Dr. Raja Selvam. ISP is recognised as a very effective form of psychotherapy and is known to be helpful in showing positive improvements in the clients in a short period.
