The application automatically populated standardized fields in the frequently-used documents with data stored on the SQL Server Optimized the Firm’s approximately 500 US-based Financial Advisors capacity to identify and customize their pitches in order to cross sell a variety of both commercial and retail insurance products to existing clients. Created/launched a SharePoint site, with an Access/VBA frontend that filtered products based on client criteria, limiting the recommendations to only those relevant to that client’s business Completed this project in half of the originally allotted 18-month timeline. From the first rollout/feature launch to Q1 2018, the application helped increased US sales to Retail insurance clients by ~ 43% and boosted Commercial sales by ~ 36%. Set up process whereby this application would be rolled out to Liberty’s global offices, eventually accessible to over 50,000 end users

Responsible for pooling this vendor/pricing data and creating tools that enabled easy contract/price comparisons. Project facilitated streamlined negotiations with vendors, resulting in optimal pricing terms for Procurement groups across all of Northwell’s facilities Wrote custom logic in VBA that allowed the Access front end to point to different servers for development and UAT, before releasing a production version to Analysts. Worked to complete Client’s data warehouse and then created a data mart for the General Procurement Office’s application. Designed, developed & deployed multiple SSIS packages for ETL processes, loading data from PeopleSoft (Oracle), and vendor Excel files into the GPO’s SQL Server database and data mart.
