Overall GM and lead for PayPal's Risk As A Service business unit. This was a ring fenced global BU of 150+ FTE's and 50+ contractors across Engineering, Product Management, Data Science, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success and Product Marketing. Over a span of a little under 4 years the BU designed, developed and sold a roster of industry leading risk mitigation products and services to PayPal's merchant base. Among other things, the Risk As A Service Business unit was responsible for:• Offering a roster of risk mitigation services to PayPal merchants - Fraud Protection, Fraud Protection Advanced, Chargeback Protection, Chargehound (Dispute Automation) and Simility. • Delivering over $35M in ARR FY'22 ($45M directional goal for FY'23) at a close to 100% operating margin while running profitably.• Industry leading decline, chargeback rates and dispute win rates for some of the biggest PayPal merchants including the likes of Uber, AirBnB, Doordash etc. • Oversaw acquisition and integration of Chargehound to the RaaS portfolio.

Simility is an emerging market leader in enterprise fraud and risk management. Simility is headquartered in Palo Alto and funded by Accel Partners. Majority of the early founding team at Simility is comprised of ex-google fraud-detection experts. Simility works with a cross-section of financial services, payments and retail clients - from fintech startups to Global Fortune 500 banks. The fraud solutions market is dominated by rules based systems and legacy software provided by pre-2010 technology vendors. Digital transformation is disrupting finance, payments and commerce, rendering legacy fraud solutions ineffective. Big data analytics, machine learning, and advanced data visualization are the new tools of choice for fraud fighters, and Simility is the thought leader in research and development of these tools.Simility was acquired by PayPal in July 2018. I was responsible for growing and leading the Product Management and Decision Sciences team globally. My team was responsible for building out the overall product roadmap, deploying and setting up Simility's solutions to all of our customers, ensuring best in class performance and ongoing support to meet our customers disparate needs.

My teams were responsible for overall product roadmap, building out release specs, and managing customer requirements and balancing out tech debt requirements. Also responsible for co-leading the India site as we grew in to double digit employees and expanded functions.

8+ years career at Google all of which was spent in the trust and safety space. Noteworthy accomplishments:• As part of Google's Search Quality team I developed and iterated on policy, investigated complex Webspam cases, worked alongside engineers as they developed long-term algorithmic solutions, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) based solutions. The team enforced Webspam policy and created/curated training data nonpareil.• First Business Analyst for Google's Local Search Quality team (responsible for fighting spam and abuse in Google Local Search). • As the Anti-Abuse & Risk Operations Manager for Google's AdWords product, I led teams that worked to detect and prevent payment fraud and account hijacking on Google's AdWords accounts.
