While strategically supporting the Director of Field Operations, I also provide administrative support to five committees made up of community board members and other important community stake holders. It is my personal mission to foster an environment of encouragement, positivity, and unity within our department. This is achieved by thoughtfully curating and hosting employee appreciation events for our staff members. I love building relationships with other departments throughout our management company, and it brings me great joy to interact with the residents we serve on a daily basis. From a quick conversation in the elevator to hosting information tables at community events, it is always a pleasure.

In this role I was given the opportunity to support the Security Director at an executive level, while also managing several committees and community programs directly related to the work of the Security Division. (Disaster Preparedness Task Force, Traffic Violations Program, Bicycle Registration Program, etc.)

In this role, I served the Security Department by supporting the Operations Manager as well as several Watch Commanders. I was responsible for ensuring reports were distributed in a timely manner, and that departmental supplies never ran dry. I enjoyed assisting residents as they walked into our office with questions, and I worked hard to foster an environment of positivity and growth with department Supervisors and Field Officers.

As a Security Dispatcher, it was my responsibility to ensure that Field Supervisors and Security Officers had access to an open line of communication with me at all times during my shift. I monitored several radio channels simultaneously while tracking Field Unit locations and providing resources as needed. This position required extreme attention to detail, and the ability to work at high speeds under a significant amount of pressure. These skills were especially required during emergency situations. In this type of work environment, if you are good at your job, you create lifelong friendships with members of the team you work with due to the experiences you share and endure together. I am proud to say that I still maintain many of those friendships today.
