♦ Supplement the efforts of ITPO’s corporate objectives to develop and promote exports, imports and up-gradation of technology ♦ Plan and implement the development programs and conceptualization of new development programs.♦ Special responsibility of individual product groups and its manufacturers across the country♦ Coordinate with the ITPO’s foreign offices in New York, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Dubai and Kiev♦ Liaison with different international organizations like CFTC, UNDP, JETRO, IMPOD, CBI, DELTA, KOTRA, ITC, etc. and other trade protocol matters.♦ Briefing and debriefing with buyer/buying delegations, of different programs of buyers visit, department stores, representatives of KOTRA, JETRO, German Export Promotion Council, IMPOD, CBI and all other Embassies in India and abroad.♦ Liaison and coordination with various export promotion agencies, commodity boards, chambers of commerce in India, Development Commissioners and other Government agencies.♦ Encouraging and motivating medium scale and small scale industrial units in export promotion efforts.♦ Advising the clients regarding export prospects of products in different markets and motivating them to export.♦ Assisting the technically competent units in product development and adaptation.♦ Supplementing the in house and need based research on trade and export promotion, preparation of proposals for submission to Ministry of Commerce and approval.♦ Coordination of publicity campaign from ITPO products, markets and programs.♦ Organizing participation in international trade fairs and exclusive India trade related exhibitions abroad.
