About Jayant Baradwaj
As I have grown, I have witnessed firsthand technology evolve and transition into a fundamental aspect of our daily lives. I have dedicated myself towards the study of Computer Science, completed a BS Degree with an emphasis in Data Science, and built proficiency in Data Structures, Algorithms and Machine Learning.I did two internships which expanded my skill set and experience in designing services and tools. Through these experiences, I sharpened my skills in various topics including the Software Development Lifecycle, SQL, AWS platform, Redis, and MongoDB. I also took a training bootcamp at Revature, in which I learned to apply Software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall, create and manage databases with SQL, and develop RESTful APIs using Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) and SpringBoot. In my free time, I like to take online courses and do practice problems on Leetcode and Coursera to deepen my knowledge of concepts and write clean, efficient codeMy time as an Eagle Scout sharpened my leadership and teamwork skills, and my ability to manage multiple priorities under time pressure. Through my experiences, I cultivated a passion for problem solving in a manner that harnesses my innate curiosity, adaptability, and creativity. I am confident that this, along with my tremendous attention to detail and dependability, will make me an invaluable asset to any team I am a part of. I’m very excited for the opportunity to further my growth and learning in my future endeavors, and I look forward to connecting

Evaluated various weather service options from a performance and cost perspective, and selected OpenweatherMap service for this project. The solution was programmed in Go Language, using OpenweatherMap API for the weather data, Redis to cache current weather data, and AWS Timestream to store 2 years’ worth of historical weather data. The solution was rolled into production and Cambium cnMaestro provides weather patterns to over 1 million devices connected to its service.
