Greetings! My name is Jayanth Jonnadula, and I am currently a third-year studying Economics at the University of Texas at Austin with a minor in Business and Computer Science. I am an analytical and goal-oriented problem solver and devote myself in any way possible to any task. I am very persistent with my work, and my ability to be adaptable and communicative with my peers makes me a reliable asset to any company. In the early stages of my life, I was brought up with a business background. My Uncle back in India owns a clothing company called Jonnadula Handlooms. Ever since I was little he would teach me important skills such as risk management, analytical skills, and financial management. He also taught me how to make wise business decisions, and how they impact overall profits. These lessons from him eventually sparked my interest in Finance. Over the past few years, I've cultivated a robust expertise in finance, drawing insights from diverse industries. My journey began at MGX Stone Corporation in 2021, where I mastered the Stone Profit System and honed my skills in financial reporting and supply chain management. Transitioning to Axis Countertops in 2022, I steered innovative transportation strategies, yielding a 23% increase in delivery efficiency, and under my guidance, our team achieved a 14% growth in sales. Most recently, at The Boring Company in 2023, I expertly navigated tools like NetSuite and Tipalti. With an average processing of 200+ invoices weekly, I contributed to a 15% workflow improvement. My detailed reconciliation on Tipalti ensured a 99% accuracy rate while using NetSuite and Excel, I mitigated compliance risks by 20% and enhanced month-end closure efficiency by 10%. Each experience has further cemented my passion and proficiency in finance.In the future, I want to become an Investment banker or work within corporate banking as an analyst. I am also interested in getting my MBA, so I can eventually become an executive at a company. Some things that I am interested in are sports, fashion, and technology. I also ran Track & Field for UTD. In my spare time, I love to read and watch movies. My favorite movies include Interstellar, Forrest Gump, and Avatar.
