Working under direct supervision of attending hand surgeons Dr. Abhiram R. Bhashyam and Dr. Neal C. Chen, Chief of Hand Surgery at Mass General. Developing and clinically validating novel AI tools to assist in pre-operative planning, surgical outcomes, and patient care. Lead author on multiple peer-reviewed publications and podium talks in clinical and technical venues. First-author work is featured on the cover of top orthopedics journal (Clinical Orthopedics & Related Research). Won two-year R03-type grant from American Foundation for Surgery of the Hand, as a lead contributor. Working with MGB Innovation for IP and internal deployment.

Building groundbreaking, clinically tested technology to combat vision loss in the developing world. Impacting hundreds of patients in South India and expanding to Sierra Leone. Leading a growingteam across Harvard College, Medical School, School of Public Health. Building and deploying low-cost systems for smartphone-based screening of corneal disease (MOSAIC); school screening app for pediatric vision loss (LittleEye); ophthalmic surgical scope attachment (SightFinder). Backed by Seva Foundation, Harvard President's Innovation Challenge, Yun Fellowship for Revolutionary Thinking, Fong Family Foundation.

Worked with Segmed (YC W20) to develop a state-of-the-art generative AI platform for generation of synthetic medical images. Work was presented by CEO to a full audience at the world's largest medical imaging conference (2023 Radiological Society of North America) in the AI Showcase Speech (“Generative AI for synthetic medical imaging”), in collaboration with NVIDIA. Co-author on invited paper on the applications of generative AI in healthcare, published in Radiology.

Worked under direct supervision of Wolfgang Halter, Head of Data Science at Merck Life Sciences (MilliporeSigma). Developed and implemented algorithm to solve multi-sensor fusion problem for predicting viable cell density, to be used in bioreactor systems in Life Sciences R&D.

Spearheaded Project Maverick, using machine learning to streamline laboratory and operational workflow. Directly managed 12 Harvard undergrads in the largest and highest-value contract in Harvard Data Analytics history. Presented results at Moderna HQ to 40+ stakeholders including C-suite and senior leadership.
