Co-founder of eBill & ePay – electronic bill presentation and payment start-up in Singapore. In this role as chief technologies, conceptualized the idea, secured seed funding and built the IP launching the product within 6 months. The online adoption grew quickly to 70 thousand users within months talking EBPP to the next level. Post merging with Sakon Singapore, an SBO operator, pioneered the bill processing for major Telco’s and utility companies in Singapore. The portfolio of offering expanded from EBPP to bill processing to call-back operations. The toll record processing, was the first of its kind, where the rated billing records were processed, presented and electric payment collected in one sprint. The start-up was valued over $25M just before the IP was bought by ST computers in early 2003.

Jayant moved into ERP domain late 1993 and worked into various modules like HR, supply chain and finance. Moved to Singapore to start the business operations and grew the business to more than $10M within 5 years.

Jayant started his career as research engineer in National Chemical Laboratories building software modules for chemical instruments. These funded research projects were to solve specific industry problem in analyzing various chemical materials used in the manufacturing industries.
