I am an educator and curriculum designer with over 20 years of experience across diverse educational environments. For the next stage in my career, I am eager to explore leadership roles that involve innovative curriculum development, organizational design, and strategic planning. My goal is educational transformation that prepares intergenerational learners to better themselves, their communities, and their ecosystems. My worklife began in academic publishing in 2004, where I helped non-native English speakers publish in top-tier science journals and led a team of 35 in-house and over 100 freelance editors. This early mangerial experience deepened my love for both science and helping people learn and grow, which ultimately led me to education. In 2015, I organized India’s first interdisciplinary learning festival, The Story of Light, which was recognized by the UN as one of its top global outreach projects, drawing 15,000 participants to explore science through art. In 2017, I built on this success with a second festival themed around space, further expanding our impact and learning programs.Transitioning into formal education in 2018, I have taught IB Physics, Theory of Knowledge, Grade 10 Math, and NGSS Science at UWC ISAK Japan and the United Nations International School. In these roles, I have championed student agency, project-based learning, and transformative educational experiences. My students have engaged in complex research projects, such as investigating dark matter with robotic telescopes and developing biofuel energy solutions, bridging the gap between subject knowledge and real-world applications. Currently, I am designing courses in systems transformation at UWC Atlantic, where my focus is on energy, systems thinking, bridging and belonging, and just futures--preparing the next generation of learners to meet global challenges. My consultancy work extends beyond the classroom. I have designed interdisciplinary courses for organizations such as the School of Humanity, facilitated workshops for K-12 educators with the Indian Principals' Network and the UWC Network, and supported program design for foundations like GI-TOC, The Blue Ribbon Initiative, Prestige Foundation, and LeTS Foundation.
