As a data engineer at BrightSpring Health Services, I design and build data pipelines and data lakes using Azure Databricks, SQL, and Python to support the company's mission of delivering high-quality care and services to people with healthcare needs. I also collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to provide data-driven insights and solutions that improve outcomes and efficiency. With a master's degree in business analytics from the University of Louisville, completed in July 2022, and a joint certificate in data analytics from SAS, I have developed strong skills in data modeling, machine learning, visualization, and storytelling. Prior to joining BrightSpring in December 2021, I worked as a data engineer at American Commercial Barge Line, where I applied my knowledge of transportation engineering, which I obtained from my master's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, to optimize the operations and performance of the largest inland waterway carrier in the US. I am passionate about leveraging data and technology to create positive impact and value for both the customers and the society.
