· Experience in performing top to bottom in revenue cycle management for Inpatient Interventional Radiology (IVR) & Radiology Coding.· Sound knowledge of ICD-10-CM, PCS and CPT coding with ICD 9.· Responsible for daily operations of coding division including monitoring quality & quantity of workflow to ensure completion of work assignments.· Assists in the development of coding & abstracting policies & practice standards & communicates all policy changes as requested.· Identifies needs for educational sessions in collaboration with audit team.· Provides educational support & training of coding & documentation practices for all coding & client staff.· Hires, trains, counsels & disciplines when necessary coding staff.· Perform annual performance evaluation on staff.· Authorizes & coordinates payroll.· Assesses Coding workflow processes, identifies innovative solutions when improvements is needed and initiates changes.· Review physician queries submitted by coders for leading & non-compliant languages.· Assists in developing new query forms as needed.· Provides weekly reports to client.· Participates in processing of audits as well as all type of internal & external auditing· Maintain strict physician & patient confidentiality & follows state, federal & hospital guidelines for the release of information.· Strong interpersonal skills to work with physicians and staff to implement positive change.· Demonstrated customer-oriented management style.· Supports our Compliance program by demonstrating adherence to all relevant compliance policies & procedures as evidenced by training participation & daily practice: notifying management when there is compliance concern or Incident: demonstrating knowledge of HIPAA Privacy & Security regulations as evidenced by appropriate handling of patient information: promoting confidentiality & using discretion when handling patient information.
