I have functioned in many creative roles within the video game industry- but my foundation and passion has always been with “Visual Development” of games.I have been lucky enough to have had a dynamic career. Starting as a pixel pusher on the NES/SNES I worked in many creative roles over the next thirty years- always involved in art- always creating content. My experience from art, design and production helping shape the creative choices that I make.Most recently I functioned as “studio Art Director” at Amazon games where I built a magnificent art team and worked closely with them as we developed several visually stylized games... Stylization and the pursuit of visually compelling and original art has been the backbone of my career. Pulling from movies, comics, and TV, my games reflect my inspiration and passion- be it Anime, Disney, 2000AD or Heavy metal magazine.I love what I do, and hope that my energy and enthusiasm is contagious- I like to think that I always inspire my team to do their best work. As a leader who has made award winning games, yet is most happy working shoulder to shoulder with junior artists- I hope that I instill pride, passion, and loyalty. We are making games... It should be fun, it should be creative, it should be awesome.
