I am currently a sophomore at the University of Utah, planning on majoring in Operations and Supply Chain as a member of the Business Scholars program for the Eccles School of Business. Interested in travel, I spent a gap year from 2022-2023 backpacking through in seven countries in Europe in the fall. In the spring, I was given the opportunity to play rugby in Sydney, Australia. On these continents, I gained work experience, built my social skills and connections, all while learning about other cultures, languages, and lifestyles. The past two summers I refined my leadership skills by leading a six-week camp group for underprivileged teenagers in Shreveport, Louisiana. After each of these camps, I landed a position in the food industry working for an ice-cream food truck called Beaux Berry in Portland, Oregon.
