At an operational level, plans, coordinates, monitors, evaluates, and advises unit commanders and staff in both medical and non-medical areas of patient evacuation and treatment, organizational administration, supply, training, operations, transportation, and maintenance.

Responsible for implementation, ongoing management and strategic growth of the program: outpatient Wound Care Center, HBO, inpatient and outreach. Oversaw day to day program operations and is responsible for budgeting, revenue and cost management, reimbursement, quality management, performance improvement, marketing and community education, and human resource management. Responsible for maintaining collaborative and consultative client relationships, program integration within the hospital organization and creating effective working relationships within the company and internal and external to the hospital organization and, ultimately contract retention.- Successfully turned a multi-disciplinary advanced Wound Care Center around by driving clinical outcome, recruiting two new panel physicians, created and drove new standards, leading to a successful deficient free JCAHO survey. - Successfully led Medstar Good Samaritan Hospital of Baltimore, MD to become a Wound Care “Center of Distinction”, an industry recognized award which the Center had not earned in its 17-year existence. - Achieved a 19% increase in patient census in just eight months. - Achieved a 38% increase in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy census, an accolade made more important by treating the most Hyperbaric patients since the program’s inception. - Improved programs Comprehensive Healing Rate by 15%. • Improved programs “Days to Heal” metrics by an average of six days.

Maintain overall operational and fiscal responsibilities, provisions of nursing services, and care of patients in several multiple-modality hemodialysis and Home Program joint-venture facilities. Oversee team of registered nurses, dietitians, social workers, patient care technicians, biomedical technicians, and administrative staff members in support of nearly 400 patient daily censuses. Direct and implement programs, uphold company core values, and enforce initiatives set forth by the governing body. Accountable to the governing body on all matters pertaining to the facility.-Successfully turned around three underperforming centers by simultaneously recruiting, training, and developing a strong, competent team of professionals, leading to successful 2016 compliance audits by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Maryland Commission on Kidney Disease.-Successfully led Woodbridge, VA clinic to become the Mid-Atlantic Renal Coalition (MARC) Facility of the Year, an honor the team received over 100 other hemodialysis clinics.-Successfully increased facility’s CMS quality rating from 4-star to 5-star facility.-Implemented strategies to reduce patient admissions time by 50%, down from 48 hours to 4 hours or less.-Recognized for staff restructuring, which increased overall staff satisfaction from 43% in 2015 to current facility record high of 81%-Decreased projected CMS penalty reduction rate from 1% to 0% in 8 months.-Achieved increase in patient census by 23% in 9 months.-Attained top 20% Quartile DQI (DaVita Quality Index) scores throughout the Village with an increase from 67% to more than 85% in 6 months. Sustained score above 80% for an entire year.-Consistently outperformed budget goals and led center to continued solid financial performance.-Improved collaboration and alignment between physicians and DaVita quality goals and objectives.-Successfully created and implemented nocturnal modalities for two separate clinics.

Developed and managed partnerships with executive level contacts within the Healthcare industry worldwide. Identified and addressed Army Reserve Soldier workforce skill gaps. Developed and implemented solutions to address the identified gaps. Built healthcare specific training and certification programs that are mutually beneficial to the military and civilian workforces, while enhancing the skill sets of Soldiers. Addressed readiness concerns within the Army Reserve to include, individual, leader, and unit readiness.

Recruited to assume full responsibility and accountability for the implementation of strategic clinical initiatives and expansions of medical unit. Responsibility included realigning the healthcare delivery system, developing fiscal operating and capital budgets, and implementing best-practice systems for operational efficiency for services provided to more than 3,000 military and government service employees. Led operations, medical/dental readiness, and training. Provided routine and emergency care and minor surgical procedures to students and staff. Directed 40 employees and five million dollar budget.-Advised CEO on all health-related matters pertaining to the care of 2,000 service members and served as emergency medical liaison to four local hospitals during military training exercises.-Developed standard operating procedures, in accordance with Department of Defense regulations, to support high quality medical care during 700 readiness training evolutions annually, reducing student failure rate from 20% to 5%.-Enacted plans to ensure successful performance on core measures such as patient satisfaction through identification and justification of needed resources for improved medical care.-Successfully implemented and tracked all medical programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with Army Bureau of Medicine.-Developed standard operating procedures and coordinated with local urgent care facilities to ensure adequate after hours medical care at a military cost savings of nearly $800K annually.
