I started in 2007 with MMC (60,000 employees) working for the operating company Mercer in the sub-operating company Mercer Human Resources, which later became Mercer Outsourcing, and now currently is Mercer Benefits Administration. During my time at Mercer I focused on partnering with Marsh Global Technology Infrastructure (MGTI - The IT arm for all MMC) to provide technical infrastructure solutions for Mercer's complex application systems which support over a million external users.After a 4 year stay at Mercer I moved to MGTI where I first started managing the deployment of core data center and remote office infrastructure solutions.Currently I manage the IT side of the Marsh Agency Portfolio which is expanding at an aggressive rate though merger and acquisitions. Currently we are averaging one "go live" conversion / integration every two months.

Managed the following projects:• Complete out-sourcing of IT Departments remote network access (VPN, DSL, Broadband, Dial Up), saving $ 1.7M per year. • Coordinated Siebel integration into existing IT network infrastructure. • Integrated Genuity's and Fidelity's network for newly out-sourced Payroll / Human Resources system.• Network Intergration of Video Streaming - estimated yearly savings of $500,000 with $1M up-front cost. • Desktop Video Conferencing After research and analysis, compiled data that demonstrated a $9M per year increase in budget cost. My recommendations to cancel this project were implemented. • Core team member of IT Engineering, which set enterprise technology standards for Genuity (Voice, LDAP, PKI, Y2K, SANS, Disaster Recovery, VPN, Security, PBX, etc.).

• Managed the network portion of the telecommunications budget of $1.2 million.• Reconfigured Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure, including researching complaints; conducting tests to clearly define causes of network issues, exploring all possible resolutions, and implementing the most cost-effective improvement, while absorbing the new cost into a fixed budget (installed ATM). • Created detailed network / desktop security policy. • Managed, troubleshot (24x7), and monitored utilization of: LAN & WAN - Frame Relay (International and US). • Implemented Telcom Departments first intranet web server (UNIX); allowing access to network statistics, monitoring, and troubleshooting via any Internet browser. Using HP Open View Web and Optivity Web software, this greatly increased Network Management access with only minor cost.
