Joined Weatherford's Corporate Marketing team in the Summer of 2013 as a Senior Graphic Designer specializing in information graphics, but soon became the department's PowerPoint expert and keeper of the corporate organization chart. In late 2015, joined the company's Investor Relations team, with an enhanced responsibility for working on high-level documents, including proxy statements, annual reports, and PowerPoint presentations for investor tours and quarterly meetings of the company's board of directors.

In 2006, the Chronicle was one of four newspapers worldwide to be cited by SND for overall use of graphics.In 2012, was nominated as “Editor of the Year” in the Chronicle’s annual employee awards.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

In 2000, traveled to Yucca Mountain, Nevada, to research the planned nuclear waste repository under construction there. The resulting graphic was reprinted in a textbook on hazardous waste management. In 2002, a graphic created for the opening of the Texas State History Museum in Austin was included in Print magazine's regional design annual. Worked extensively with meteorologists at WFAA-TV to create a regular series of graphics to explain various aspects of Texas weather.

Notable news events covered include the standoff at the Branch Davidian compound outside of Waco (February 28 - April 19, 1993), and the Jarrell, Texas tornado (May 27, 1997).In 1997, won “Best of Cox” newspapers awards for information graphics and illustrations created for a series on the legacy of Lyndon Baines Johnson in the Texas Hill Country. The series also earned the staff an invitation to lunch with Lady Bird Johnson at the top of the LBJ Presidential Library.

Waco, Texas Area

As a graphics reporter, was on the scene of the Luby's cafeteria massacre in Killeen, Texas, an hour after it happened (October 16, 1991). Information gathered through interviews was used to create deadline graphics for the Tribune-Herald, and was also used by the Associated Press to create their own graphics for distribution to newspapers across the country.

Alexandria, Louisiana Area

First job out of college. Provided editorial cartoons, information graphics and illustrations for the daily newspaper in Alexandria, La. Topics covered include the first Gulf War, the completion of Interstate 49, Louisiana politics, and the closing of England Air Force Base. Cartoons reprinted in the 1991 edition of "The Best Editorial Cartoons of the Year" and in a CNN publication commemorating the network's coverage of the war.
