Jaycee (Booth) Simon assists clients with matters in the Labor & Employment and Litigation & Trial Practice Groups. She exclusively represents management in employment related matters such as harassment and discrimination claims under Title VII, the Age Discrimination and Employment Act (ADEA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), whistleblower claims, negligent hiring, supervision and retention and retaliatory discharge. Jaycee also practices business immigration, including I-9 compliance and drafting employer-sponsored non-immigrant and immigrant petitions.She graduated with honors from Oklahoma City University School of Law as a Merit Scholar and was inducted into the Order of Barristers. During law school, Jaycee was a member of the William J. Holloway Inn of Court and competed in the regional semifinals at the American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition. She was also a member of the international legal honor society, Phi Delta Phi, and received a CALI award for Legal Research and Writing II.Active in student leadership programs, she served as vice president for the John E. Green Black Law Student Association, as a staff editor for the Oklahoma City University Law review and was a member of the Organization for the Advancement of Women in the Law. She also served as an extern for the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board and as a judicial intern for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.Jaycee received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from West Texas A&M University graduating with honors.
