About Jaycee Hallford, M.S., M.A.
I head into my fourth year of doctoral studies this August, and will be applying to APA accredited internships in the fall. At this point in my training, I have logged over 700 supervised, direct intervention hours with patients and 100 supervised assessment hours. I have experience in crisis intervention, short and long term psychotherapy, and individual and group therapy. As the complexity of my training increases, the more I turn to the basics of therapeutic intervention. I am a person-centered therapist at heart and fully believe in the power of empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard. I am passionate about working with stigmatized, marginalized, and “hopeless” clients. I believe everyone can be healed.
