Electrical Engineer
CurrentDevelop, design, test, and troubleshoot complex systems or components of such systems for the Power Plants, Pump-Generating plant, switchyards, and surrounding dam areas. Prepare, modify, and update wiring/schematic diagrams when changes occur due to maintenance, component replacement, and/or unit overhaul. • Organize, conduct and support test activities in the Power Plants, Pump-Generating plant, and Switchyards • Responsible for executing test cases, documenting results and defects• Performed Job Hazard Analysis and Lock-Out/Tag-Out on clearance boundaries • Rapid response to equipment failure and implementing immediate repairs• Preparation of electrical procedures for installation test and commissioning • Monitoring and reporting to senior management any testing or repair trends• Use AutoCAD to design, modify, and update wiring/schematic diagrams• Trace/Record devices and wires on existing cabinets to update drawings• Accept and modify contractor drawings to match bureau standards • Design, develop, and implement a pressure sensitive safety mat drive circuit • Work in a team oriented environment with multi-disciplined engineers, electricians, mechanics, AutoCAD technicians, and contractors
