Current- Efficiently manage family and housing law (and other civil law) case files, ensuring accurate documentation, timely deadlines, and coordination with clients and courts. - Conduct targeted research on family law (e.g., custody, divorce) and housing law (e.g., eviction, tenant rights) to support case strategies and legal arguments. - Draft and prepare legal documents, including petitions, affidavits, and motions, specific to family and housing law cases, ensuring precision and compliance with court requirements. - Assist clients with family and housing law matters by explaining legal processes, preparing them for court, and addressing their concerns with empathy and professionalism. - Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, maintaining case files, and managing office correspondence to ensure smooth operations within the legal aid team.
