As a member of the Industry Solutions Engineering (ISE) organization, I provide Security Software Engineering subject matter expertise to our top customers in technical envisioning, architecture, proof of concept and/or implementation for solutions utilizing Azure.

- Managed a multitude of INFOSEC projects seeking accreditation to operate and develop within an on-premise or vendor driven cloud platform (AWS/Azure).- Conducted Technical Exchange Meetings and briefings with key stakeholders to assess architecture, strategy, impact and milestones. - Reviewed and assessed project architecture to assist in program development. - Created and executed strategies to improve the cyber security poster and infrastructure.- Developed wellness plans for program mitigation as an authoritative officer. - Thorough post-event analysis for security relevant incidents such as data spills and vulnerability resolution.

Concurrently performed Risk Management, as well as, Systems Security Engineer duties to facilitate the integration and certification & accreditation for enterprise-wide solution affecting all users within Client X’s infrastructure. Some of the key duties and responsibilities are:• Risk Criteria Review Board Member – Round table committee that analyzes and scores all risk in regards to the pending certification/deployment of the system. • Responsible for replicating the client/user environment from our research laboratory. This entails design, test, and implementation of a pilot for the Desktop/Workstation Login portion of the project. • Customize and test a COTS product and integrate the middleware into the client software baseline. Serve as Test Engineer for the hardware solution provided to the client. Write recommendations to the client based on my findings and in turn, provide input to the vendor for development.• Meet with other organizations within the same directorate to query their interest in adopting our strategy and to instruct them on how the integration will work.• Serve as liaison between COTS vendor and client. Attend regular meetings with client to discuss milestones and obstacles in regards to vendor development and certification.• Create all documents for Governance and Certification & Accreditation (CONOPS, Requirements, Risk Management Plan, System Design Document,)• Provide virtualization for COTS middleware to integrate with the client specific Enterprise on the following platforms. (Windows XP SP3, Windows 2008, Windows 7)• Back-fill the position of Project Manager when acting PM is unavailable. • Responsible for providing Linux configuration of PKI servers, regression testing and system hardening for the client PKI integration. • Created multiple client-based documents such as installation guides, hardening guides and procedural guides based on requirements established in DCID 6/3.

Perform Team Lead duties as a member of the Cross-Domain Team. Responsible for sustainment of the legacy Secure Data Replication system and client specific customization of next generation ISSE Guard. Sustainment is performed in a 24x7 capacity. Perform operating system level security in compliance with directives set forth by ONI’s system security division.• Provide written and oral input to the weekly and monthly activity reports. Face to face client interaction in regards to system characteristics, development plans, system planning, forecasting, and sustainment issues. • Utilize a proprietary tool that extracts XML files from security classification to then propagate data replication across multiple security classification levels via relational databases (Oracle and SQL Server).• Created multiple configuration GUIs using XML to load servers with necessary bundles and packaging. • Run diagnostics on each database based upon domain and classification level to ensure that low and hi-side data remains synchronous. • Create triggers based upon specific domain security release policies within the databases to engage the data replication.• Perform standard SQL commands such as executing select statements, updates, inserts/deletes, unions, performing a touch, and database normalization.• Develop production severs, install packages, run security scans.• Install and execute security scanning tools to ensure compliance with established security policy. • Loading the Solaris Operating System on a variety of SUN servers.• Installing, configuring, and managing backup, and disk management software on both new and redeployed SUN servers.• Conducting file system management, mounting file systems via direct system connection and network file system (NFS) architecture.• Solaris network configuration, including setting and changing IP addresses, subnets, default routers and netmasks.• Solaris patch management and path management for the OS and applications.

• Member of a review committee that provides a disposition for all items that have been built for submittal. This is a certification process that provides assurance and verification to the customer that the metrics and utilities that we have created, are still meeting the requirements established for the timeline. This evaluation is done at the end of each organizational release level to ensure mission stability. Based on my personal review of each item relevant to the database, I grant the status of approve, defer, abstain, reject. This process verifies that any changes built to the baseline from the previous development cycle, does not impair or negatively affect the baseline allocation plan for the next development cycle. A failure to perform this task will result in a breach of contract and discredits the entire mission plan.• Primary team representative for all database mission application related correspondence. Responsible for preparing agendas, determining labor hours for projects, coordinating conferences and net meetings, presenting analytical recommendations to the client, finalizing statements of work. • Attend daily discrepancy work off environment meetings that dictate the development and integration cycle of all tasked work items within a release plan based on customer requirements. • Provide maintenance and re-engineering support of large relational databases, spanning multiple security levels for the Integrated Development and Maintenance Organization.• Perform quality control audits to ensure accuracy, completeness and proper usage of data in tables and support tools.• Examine database to ensure accurate, appropriate, and effective use of data, including database definition, structure, documentation, long-range requirements, and operational guidelines.• Support the integration, checkout, test, and transition of software and database modification. Analyze technical workarounds based on the specific needs and requirements of the customer/user.

• Provided helpdesk support for Blackboard clients via online chat, email or inbound calls.• Performed course migrations by developing content on the Blackboard platform.• Utilized the Remedy database to identify, verify, assign and document all aspects of communication with clients.• Responded directly to client concerns using the email tool provided in Remedy.• Provided quality assurance to all submitted tickets by clients throughout the Remedy database. • Administered courses for student use based on instructor specifications.

The CTAC team was designed to provide fiber optics to telecommunication companies via a proprietary device known at Litespan to integrate into clients’ switches and routers. • Received Outstanding Mentee Award for New Hire 2000.• Translated my telecommunications knowledge of the Litespan (LSPN) system to provide technical support to various Bell Companies.• Traveled as a Jr. Field Engineer across North America to perform turn-up, testing and acceptance procedures at client sites for LSPN.• Used Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Lines to compile LSPN software system upgrades during maintenance windows.• Problem diagnosis and resolution for issues with service affecting problems.• Client responsibilities such as end-to-end lifecycle solutions and project management.• Analyzed systems using various proprietary graphical interfaces.
