Experienced Civil Engineer specializing in water resources and environmental engineering, with a solid track record in the construction industry. Currently serving as a Design Engineer II in the Water Resources Group at Walter P Moore, Pune.My academic journey has been marked by excellence, starting with the attainment of a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Walchand Institute Of Technology Solapur. Building on this foundation, I pursued a Master’s in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from IIT Tirupati, earning the distinction of being the gold medalist of the batch in 2022. Notably, during my first year of study, I received recognition from ISRO Chairman Mr. S. Somnath Sir for my academic achievements.With expertise in watershed management, hydraulic structure design, modeling, and flood risk analysis I've successfully led and completed over 70 flood risk due diligence projects in the past two years, spanning across India. Additionally, I've contributed to multiple projects for US, involving Dam Breach analysis, Hydrologic and Hydraulic Modeling, No Impact Analysis, and Drainage Study Development.Proficient in a wide array of tools including XPSWMM, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, HECHMS, ArcGIS, QGIS, SWAT, AutoCAD 2D, and AutoCAD Civil 3D, I am also well-versed in software such as EPANET, WATERGEMS, SEWERGEMS, and STORMCAD. During my Master's journey, I contributed to designing STPs, water supply networks, and sewage networks including one notable project involved modeling a 93-year-old canal to assess sediment transportation risks downstream, providing crucial insights for decision-makers regarding canal restoration expenses.My research endeavors include the publication of a paper titled “Uncertainties in Prediction of Streamflows using SWAT Model- Role of Remote Sensing and Precipitation sources,” shedding light on the critical factors influencing accurate modeling outcomes.With a commitment to delivering impactful solutions in civil engineering, I am poised to tackle complex challenges and drive innovation in the field of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering.
