• I built a Recovery Ministry from the ground up. There are so many hurting people in Huntington Beach and the surrounding area, and there is such a need for a church group that is there to help support their growth and movement toward Christ (and away from addiction). I saw several men experience freedom from their addictions during my two years of lay-pastoral ministry for RHHB.• I had several opportunities to teach in a variety of contexts across the campus while receiving discipleship in the areas of spiritual growth, pastoral skills, and preaching.• I took part in the teaching team process while assisting our campus pastor with preparing his messages• I've had an integral part in the development of our men’s ministry since its infancy back in mid 2012 – where I was able to help foster discipleship relationships with the men in our congregation in an effort to help them develop spiritually and as leaders in the community.• Acted as the liaison between ROCKHARBOR Church and a new, thriving Spanish language church plant named Iglesia 29.

- Was responsible for scheduled and unplanned maintenance on the hydraulic and structural components of 22 S3-B Viking aircraft. Supervised 6-man corrosion control team for two years, handled all organization of maintenance schedules, and improved quality and efficiency of the work by mentoring in leadership programs and suggesting rotating work schedule for airmen who felt overwhelmed by the work load. - Received exemplary evaluations and was promoted early twice for my commitment to completing my tasks above the standards of the U.S. Navy. Completed extra voluntary duties as Hangar Security and member of the Emergency Reclamation Team to recover injured persons as well as salvageable aircraft parts in the event of an accident.
