The majority of my duties revolve around using a bespoke suite of web GIS software to produce maps. I work in collaboration with partner organisations such as the Rural Payments Agency and the European Union making maps that meet their defined standards. I manipulate digital data so that I’m able to validate geospatial resources, manage different data.

Worked solo in in a region that reached ~200 miles and crossed the Wales-England border. Collected high quality data from people through door-to-door engagement and by scheduling interviews.The information gathered was used for various reasons as data was requested by high-street brands like Mothercare and large government bodies such as the European.

During a summer break whist I was at university I started working as a personal grounds keeper for an elderly lady. I cleared out her woodland and brought her fields back to a habitable status. As the workload became more weighted maintenance focused, I earnt more respect and trust from my employer. Thus my responsibilities evolved to include; looking.

A standard daily newspaper delivery run that I did whist in studying at sixth form up until going to university. I was dedicated and didn’t miss a day or take any holidays until my final weeks with NWN Media. Additionally I adapted my routes to be less convenient for me but better for the customers. I learnt which people would be up the earliest and liked.

Worked on an ad-hoc basis for a local amusement ride company. Traveling to various events and operating stalls and rides aimed to younger children. Involved in setting up and taking down the company’s assets. Ensured that rides were safe and in working conditions. Handled cash from customers and resolved arguments/difficulties as they occurred.

Mold

Worked at the local rugby club with the title of glass collector. Mainly making sure that there was a constant flow of glasses during matches and other events. Also aimed to alleviate pressure from the actual bar staff though general busy work and cleaning.
