LINC Home Study allows Newcomers to study English at home while meeting with me weekly on Skype to discuss their progress and reach their goals.

For many newcomers, studying online is convenient and effective but often can be overwhelming if they are used to the traditional classroom environment. NICO course prepares students to learn online, helping them gain digital literacy skills and strategies to be successful online learners.

I worked part-time at TIES, providing learners with language instruction according to the LINC curriculum at Benchmark level 4. I delivered an instructional format and lesson content responsive to newcomer needs and adult learning styles. I continually provided feedback to individual learners through ongoing assessments, assignments and tasks.

Newcomers are able to gain job search skills and learn about workplace culture all online. I was on the development team for both projects and was the course instructor.

At Ajou University, I taught a variety of English language learning courses, mainly to Korean students but also to international students world-wide.
