Jay Blazek Crossley is Executive Director of Farm&City, a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to high quality urban and rural human habitat in Texas in perpetuity. Crossley has a Masters in Public Affairs from the LBJ School at UT-Austin and fifteen years of experience changing policies to provide affordable access to safe, walkable urbanism connected by high quality transit.Among other public roles, he serves on the Project Connect Advisory Network, the TxDOT External Partner Work Group on System Safety, Austin’s Pedestrian Advisory Council, the Texas Strategic Highway Safety Plan Stakeholder Group, and the ULI Austin Transportation Strategic Council. Crossley contributed significantly to Houston Complete Streets and Vision Zero policy, TxDOT's Road to Zero and System Safety policy, Houston Metro’s New Bus Network, Austin CapMetro’s CapRemap and Project Connect, and PlanHouston.
