Youth sports coaching is a multifaceted role beyond the courts or field. It encompasses interactions with young athletes, their families, and the broader community. In my role in youth sports, I have had the privilege of shaping young minds, fostering a sense of teamwork, and contributing to the holistic development of the youth under my guidance. I navigate the intricacies of coaching, communicating with families, maintaining order, and engaging in community outreach. Through careful guidance, effective communication, and active community engagement, I strive to create an environment where young athletes can thrive not only as sports enthusiasts but also as well-rounded individuals prepared for the challenges of life. My commitment to holistic youth development remains unwavering; it is fueled by my belief that sports can shape futures and build stronger communities.

Klesse College of Engineering Student Success CenterEmbarking on my work-study journey has been an enriching and dynamic experience, where I have had the privilege of contributing to the vibrant tapestry of campus life. In my role, I wear multiple hats, primarily focusing on outreach and student connections. I participate in outreach initiatives and provide valuable support for on-campus events, such as our weekly Thrive Thursdays and WIN Wednesdays, as well as Klesse College's Tech Symposium which occurs once every semester. Networking has also been a key component of my role. Building relationships with various campus stakeholders, I've learned the importance of effective communication and adaptability in diverse social settings. Whether giving presentations in classrooms or participating in campus events, I've developed the ability to tailor my messages to different audiences, while maintaining authenticity and enthusiasm. The outreach component of my work study has enhanced my interpersonal skills and given me a deeper understanding of the diverse perspectives within the campus community.
