Develop and implement a comprehensive, age-appropriate curriculum that incorporates a range of subjects, including language studies, math, art, social studies, and social emotional learning, while also providing individualized support for students with diverse learning needs. Assist children with completing homework assignments throughout the school week. Utilize strong organizational skills to prepare and maintain an extensive inventory of learning materials and equipment, including books, arts and crafts supplies, stationery, and other resources necessary to support effective teaching and learning. Create a safe and nurturing learning environment that encourages children to take risks and explore new ideas, while also providing the structure and support they need to succeed. Regularly evaluate progress reports and adjust teaching strategies as needed, ensuring that each child receives individualized support and attention. Collaborate with parents to develop personalized improvement plans that address their child's individual strengths and weaknesses, to maximize their potential for success. Utilize effective strategies such as positive reinforcement, clear communication, and behavior modification techniques to foster a culture of mutual respect and academic excellence. Work collaboratively with other program staff to develop and implement comprehensive training plans that were tailored to the unique needs and learning styles of each new hire.
