I clean and run descriptive and inferential statistics on large national Medicare claims data and other data, such as those from the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, using SAS and STATA. I create Excel workbook deliverables in collaboration with colleagues that contain tables and graphs describing any trends in the data.I record meeting minutes in bi-weekly client meetings.I verify other analysts analyses through the replication of their results.I am a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Workgroup which was formed in September 2020 to ensure these goals are being met by the company. I chaired the Company Initiatives subcommittee, and am currently chairing the Workgroup.I meet with leadership weekly to decide on overall goals and plans.I am performing shadow work in the contracts division such as reviewing RFPs and drafting lists of items from subcontractors that are needed for the proposal.

Private tutor for the quantitative core course PH 717 at Boston University's School of Public Health.I met with students 2 hours a week and assist them with any concepts introduced in this BUSPH core course.I covered a variety of statistical theories, concepts, and calculations such as identifying different types of data and studies, biases, regressions, confounding vs EMM, p-values, 95% CI, etc.

I analyzed the results of the Community Intervention arm of an Alcohol and ART Adherence study and contributed to the final research report.I analyzed approximately 30 in-depth interviews for behavioral change and conducted a 1-page literature review on the efficacy of collective action and its impact on individual behavior. I observed government-run ART centers, worked with a diverse Indo-US team that included PIs, community researchers, and counselors, and I conducted statistical analyses in SAS to examine intervention impacts on CD4 count, depression, alcohol intake.I generated tables and graphs to visualize demographics and intervention participation rates in Excel.

I was an in-home/in-school tutor for one student who was unable to attend regular classes due to debilitating health issues. The student was seen two hours a day, five days a week either in home or in school to adhere to the school curriculum.The student successfully finished approximately three months of missed schoolwork on top of the current curriculum material before the end of the school year, and they avoided summer school.

Youth Risk Behavior Survey 2017An effort by the CDC and Boston Public Schools Health and Wellness Department to analyze risky behavior in adolescents Administered surveys to approximately 17 middle school classes of about 30 students throughout the Greater Boston area.I worked with teachers to command classrooms and encourage student participation. I accounted for all scantrons and surveys and cleaned scantrons for optimal processing.I communicated with school principals and BPS supervisor for scheduling.

In-home tutor for ~25 students ages 5-15yrs who were in the foster care program.I was responsible for arranging each child's schedule with their foster parent/guardian to suit their hour allocation and schedules.The wide range of ages, learning abilities, and behaviors forced me to be creative and develop different teaching approaches for each student.Students were fantastic.

Wildlife conservation/monitoringI lived in the Belize savannah for 2 months and worked with 4-8 people that included conservationists, local rangers, and videographers in an effort to protect the yellow-headed parrot. I learned how to use a slingshot, climb trees, drive an ATV, and live without wifi for days on end. I also learned the importance of teamwork, that every individual plays their own unique role, and that alone time is something I strongly value! (Which is something that is hard to come by living in a small rangers station)
