-The 1867 Undergraduate Assistant Program provides an invaluable learning and networking experience not readily accessible to most undergraduate students on campus. They select the best and the brightest to lead us into the future.-As a student intern with 1867, I will have the opportunity to work with various campus offices, as well as notable alumni, major donors, distinguished guests/friends, and visitors of the University throughout the year. Homecoming, Charter Day weekend, and Commencement are some of the major University events that this program assists in heavily. -The program is committed to maintaining a standard of excellence as they train and prepare selected students to be successful not only here at Howard, but in their future endeavors as well.
