The Peer Learning Program at UCLA assists historically underrepresented students in their academic pursuits through peer to peer learning sessions. This program facilitates the critical thinking and intellectual independence of students and serves as a supplementary resource to better comprehension of course concepts. I conducted the hiring of peer learning facilitators for the Humanities discipline and oversaw eight staff members. Additionally, I hosted weekly discipline meetings and rectified issues that arose. I remained in constant liaison with lab coordinators, updating them on the progress of student leaders and students. Outside of the logistical roles of the position, I created Peer Learning's first ever student leader development event, the "Winter Soiree." Here, peer learning staff built relationships with those outside of their disciplines and strengthened community bonds to better serve students.

As a peer learning facilitator (PLF), I hosted weekly group sessions covering specific course material, prepared lesson plans, fostered community among peers, and frequently communicated with professors and teaching assistants to better prepare material to discuss with my peers.

The Committee on Academic Freedom proactively identifies issues that threaten academic freedom and deals with specific issues that may be brought to the Committee as they arise. In this position, I was nominated and appointed to maintain liaison with six Academic Senate faculty members and one student representative about issues pertaining to academic freedom. By the end of my term, I was able to rectify five issues regarding student safety in the classroom.

The Office of the President functions as an integral part of the Undergraduate Students Association Council by promoting leadership, education, and retention. The office's primary responsibility is to act as an administrative component of the entire council while facilitating programs and leadership development that bring different campus entities together. As an intern, I worked with various student leaders to design and implement mental health resources across campus.
