It's been about drafting those crucial distribution and co-production agreements that let our stories travel far and wide, and actively contributing to the development and production of nearly 50 film and TV programs. This role has truly expanded our company's footprint and presence in the industry.• Achievements: ◦ Had the incredible opportunity to lead the production of 35 high-profile projects. It's been a journey of growth, learning, and strategic expansion. ◦ Worked on securing distribution agreements with giants like AMC, Netflix, Sony Television, and FX. Parallel to my journey with Nomadic Pictures, I've also been exploring the world of media from a different angle with The JDB Film Company. Representing Canadian media on a trade mission to South Africa was a highlight, enhancing our international collaborations and footprint. I've sifted through over 200 creative and business affairs applications, playing a part in securing vital funding for projects that bridge cultures. Navigating the intricate CAVCO tax credit programs has been both a challenge and a thrill, leading to significant funding that fuels our creative ventures.• Achievements: ◦ Proud to have secured over $181M in production financing, contributing to the sustainability and growth of countless film projects. ◦ Fostered groundbreaking international collaborations through securing CMF Development funding, amplifying the global presence of Canadian media. ◦ Ensured compliance with CAVCO federal tax credit programs, unlocking more than $50M in production financing, which has been crucial for bringing projects to life. ◦ Applied for and successfully secured provincial tax credits, generating over $131M in financing. It’s been a game-changer for the Canadian film industry. ◦ Offered expert guidance on maximizing tax credit incentives, helping stakeholders optimize financial strategies and ensuring project viability.
