I have taken a break from my university studies to gain more experience. I am currently doing an apprenticeship at Haringey council with connected communities to become support worker. Upon completing my apprenticeship I plan on completing my undergraduate degree in Human geography before doing a masters in social policy. I have a vast amount of lived experience with trauma in my personal life, this has made me an extremely passionate individual about making change to help create a more positive world. My area of expertise that I aspire to further develop in is trauma, I believe with the right processes someone can be supported through healing from their trauma and creating their version of a good life - I am an example of this!My specific areas of passion are:Violence against girls and women Family dynamics Youth prospects Dementia I am very passionate about advancing the black community through all of my work while fundamentally sharing my beliefs that before anything we are human beings and should all be treated equally as humans are equal!I love to connect and have interning conversations about new topics, this is my way of learning about the world as my lived experience is only mine.
