Hi! I’m Jayde, I’m British born and lived there for 16 years, I later immigrated to Canada with my family for a better way of life. I love living in this country, I have found who I am through trial and error, life would be boring if it didn’t give you challenges and room for growth. I have worked in the automotive industry for over 8 years, I am a Red Seal Journeyman. The automotive industry has been in my life for a good 12 years from learning tips and tricks here and there from my past relationship and from other car enthusiasts.I have increased my skills and knowledge by going into the trade. I have been to NAIT and have loved learning each year that I’ve been there. With the pandemic I had the time off due to health risks with my spouse. In this time I have learnt a lot about myself and I have enjoyed expanding my skills with many projects. I performed house renovations, this included removing old carpet and installing new hardwood, taped and mudded walls before painting, transformed a random sink in the living room into a small bar. I have increased my woodworking skills, I built a patio in the backyard with a beautiful privacy screen attached. I also removed and rebuilt the stairs to both front and rear decks. I’ve always been into art and design. I have painted many acrylic paintings and have done custom orders. I’m always up for a challenge, I do this to increase my knowledge and feel self accomplished. In life I want to better myself and encourage others around me.
