Passionate chemical engineer, currently working at Nayara Energy Limited - Jamnagar, I am responsible for operating the equipment and processes that convert crude oil into a variety of useful products, such as fuel gas, LPG, gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel and coal. This journey is full of challenges, learnings and growth. The petroleum refining process at Nayara Energy Limited is a complex and challenging one. It involves a variety of unit operations, such as distillation, cracking etc. As a chemical engineer i have a deep understanding of these unit operations in order to design and operate refineries efficiently and safely. Crude oil is a mixture of hundreds of different hydrocarbons, and each hydrocarbon has its own unique properties. I use my knowledge of chemistry and engineering to separate these hydrocarbons and convert them into the desired products.
