Check Marking of various items as per fabrication drawings.• Check dimensions at setup stage & after complete welding and prepare report. • Confirm / Check that all items are welded, sizes weld fillets, and NDT of all seams, DCRs & PTC cleared before releasing job for PWHT. • Looking after day to day inspection activities e.g. marking, setup, final dimensions, dry survey, weight measurement etc.• Thorough Study of drawings and DCRS for every project.• Able to use advanced inspection instruments e.g. Dumpy level, Theodolite,Distometer, Cross liner etc. • Study the manufacturing procedures and do inspection planning for critical inspection activities and/or critical dimensions along with production to avoid non conformity at later stage.• Maintaining inspection status for each project and give report to seniors • Give necessary instructions/TBT (Tool Box Talk) to Fabricators for critical activities.
