On performing my duties exceptionally, as a QA Tester II, I was presented with the opportunity to move up the ladder as a QA Analyst. With the new designation, came in a whole new range of roles and responsibilities.Initially I was looking into the Live operations of the product along with writing test cases for the upcoming updates. While simultaneously looking into both these aspects of the product, I was also taking part in the update and live planning sprints done using the Agile-Scrum framework. As a QA Analyst it was my duty to ensure that the product meets the expected standards, at the end of each sprint, in terms of design and production requirements. Using various tools and systems at my disposal I had additionally taken on the responsibility to provide server side assistance, in terms of product features, to the Core QA counter parts.After the first initial months, I had taken up the task of verifying end user complaints and authenticity, via Database search and data analysis using SQL. I was conducting product update demo sessions with the entire team at the end of each sprint along with conducting knowledge transfer sessions with the Core QA counterparts at the beginning of each update. I was also helping in create automation feasibility reports and automation flow charts for the application, as additional responsibilities. Additionally I was also working alongside the Server engineering team in order to migrate the game server from an internal server to AWS.
