My name is Jayden Downs and I'm currently seeking a rewarding career in a mechanical engineering field as a Solidworks Designer/Engineering Technician. For the last four years I had been a student at Washington State University, although I didn't receive a degree I gained valuable education and knowledge in the Mechanical Engineering field. This is demonstrated in my Courses section below. During my education at WSU I received two Solidworks Certifications from Dassault Systems. Those Certificates were CSWA - Mechanical Design and CSWA - Simulation. Between the years of 2017 and 2019 I also did Running Start in high school through Pierce College, where I got my Associate of Science. For the past year I worked as a Food Service Worker at Pullman Regional Hospital to gain valuable experience working in a fast paced and detail oriented workplace. I learned strong verbal and written communication skills during my time there through interactions with the medical professionals as well as the patients. During the Springs/Summers of 2019-2021 I also worked at Smith Gardens as a merchandiser to gain valuable work experience. Through that employment I gained strong customer service experience while working with other associates to satisfy the needs of our customers.
