As a Senator in the Student Government Association (SGA) at Montgomery College, I represent student interests and actively participate in decision-making processes. My role involves advocating for student needs, helping to organize campus events, and working with fellow student leaders to enhance the overall college experience.

Organized events like a Programming Competition and Family Robotics STEAM Night. Promote STEM programs and initiatives to prospective and current students, while organizing and participating in events to raise awareness of STEM opportunities at Montgomery College. I provide mentorship and guidance to students interested in STEM fields and collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance outreach efforts in STEM education.

Joined and attended a bootcamp centered on Python programming, advancing knowledge in object-oriented programming and software development.

I participated in the MC LEADS Leadership Development Program at Montgomery College, a 10-week initiative focused on the Social Change Model of Leadership. Through interactive workshops and community engagement, I developed leadership skills, explored my strengths, and built relationships with academic and community leaders. As part of the program, I also completed a passion project analyzing how to support underprivileged children in Kenya, emphasizing socially responsible leadership and positive social change.

As a Remote Extern at Insight Risk Technologies, I contributed to initiatives that support the company's mission to reduce water damage risks in construction projects. During the program, I honed my skills in market research, data analysis, and strategic communication while collaborating with a professional team. Participating in 1month Amazon AWS Deep Racer, where I’m focusing on machine learning (AI/ML) through reinforcement learning. I am built a self-driving car model by applying reinforcement learning techniques and training the model using AWS Deep Racer simulations.
