Aloha, my name is Jayden Ramos, and as a senior Social Worker major at Avila University with a strong academic background and a 3.5 GPA, I am seeking an opportunity to apply my skills and knowledge in a professional setting. My education includes an expected Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2025, and I hold two associate degrees from Merced College, an Associate in Arts of Sociology and an Associate in Arts of Social and Behavioral Science, both acquired in 2023. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a solid foundation in social psychology, leadership, and adaptability, allowing me to excel in dynamic environments and effectively engage with diverse populations.In addition to my formal education, I bring valuable work experience and leadership skills honed through various roles. My time as a car detailer and carpenter has sharpened my attention to detail, communication, and ability to follow precise instructions. I have also held leadership positions, such as President of the Hawaiian Culture Club and Vice President of Special Olympics during high school, where I strengthened my organizational and teamwork abilities. These experiences, combined with volunteer work coaching youth basketball and assisting with Special Olympics events, demonstrate my commitment to community service and my readiness to contribute meaningfully as a social worker.Beyond my academic and work experiences, I have cultivated a passion for helping others through my extensive volunteer work. As an assistant basketball coach for the Maui Recreational Leagues and a volunteer for Special Olympics Hawai'i, I developed strong interpersonal skills and learned the importance of empathy and patience when working with individuals of varying abilities.
