Hey there! I'm Jayden, a marketing student currently studying at Dalhousie University, and part-time marketing contractor for a few different companies. Over my few years in the industry, I have built a specialty in various forms of digital marketing, from social media to website development!I have managed social media networks for companies across a variety of industries, including construction, offshore/maritime, B2B consulting, and sports (through the Dalhousie Football Club). For the latter, myself and my team handled a portfolio including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter, which collectively received over a hundred thousand views on average per week while in season, and refocused on high-quality interview productions for recruiting during the off-season. My focus in social media strategy is to deliver the content that viewers want to see, while maintaining organizational goals such as recruitment and brand awareness.I consider graphic design to be a strength of mine, and I have experience in creating both digital and print ads and marketing materials, as well as client presentations and slide decks. As you will be able to view through some of the work attached to my job experiences, I have worked across a variety of mediums in physical marketing materials as well, including greeting cards, pamphlets and handouts, and even cardboard cutouts!I have worked with Wordpress, Squarespace and Wix in creating customized websites for several clients. Working on webpages was one of my first exposures to digital marketing, and I believe that the most important thing to focus on is providing a user-friendly experience in order to retain visitors and minimize click-through rates.I believe my competitive advantage as an employee is versatility and productivity. I pride myself on being able to manage many tasks at the same time, prioritizing based on deadlines, and working on marketing activities in a variety of categories. Although I am only a few years into my career, I consistently push myself to learn, improve and iterate rapidly to adapt to new industries and changing technologies. I have always been enthusiastic about business from as far back as I can remember, and I take great pride in being able to experiment and grow my skillset as I advance through my education an experience.
