Whilst at Harbourside Marine I worked in the inventory department of the store. This involved taking inventory of the orders of stock we received an organising the stock whether it meant putting it in storage or adding it to the shelves. I would occasionally take orders over the phone which involved checking the inventory database to see if an item was in stock or generating invoices for the customers when they placed large orders. Lastly, due to the store having inventory used in repairing marine components I learned how to crimp and cut wire and how to cut and package chain, rope and fiber glass.
