I have served as a Public Affairs Specialist for the United States Air Force for six years, – leveraging in-depth communication strategies to effectively convey the impact of our mission to our key stakeholders. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication at Louisiana State University-Alexandria, as well as Project Management Professional and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certifications, honing skills that complement my responsibilities in the military. My experience has equipped me with a unique perspective on storytelling and public engagement, ensuring that the narratives we share resonate with diverse audiences.As a well-rounded communications professional, my main goals in my career have been to use innovative solutions to enhance processes – having significantly grown the reach of four large-scale Air Force social media accounts, employ self-taught skills to expand my technical storytelling abilities (always trying to keep up with technology and the trends of the young folk), and continuously further my ability to connect with, lead and learn from others regardless of their position – having formed lasting relationships that have not only enhanced my personal growth, but the growth of the organizations that I work for.I will be transitioning out of the military soon and am looking to bring my diverse set of skills to the civilian sector. I believe in giving back to my community and hope to work for a business that believes the same and showcases that in the work they do. I am excited about the opportunity to make a lasting positive impact on the people I work for, their businesses, and my community.
