Jayden got his bachelor’s degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and obtained his master’s degree at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He had past internship experiences at China Securities and Haitong International Securities as Equity Research Analyst Intern, covering e-commerce, consumer and luxury industries. In the CFA Institute Research Challenge ended in February 2022, as one of 4 students representing PolyU, he won the Hong Kong regional Champion and advanced to the APAC semi-final, which shows his analytical capability and passion for equity analysis.He is passionate about investment and always tries to apply his research and investment skill to practice. By the end of 2019, he had constructed a portfolio consisting of gold and mutual funds which covered various sectors including Consumer Discretionary, Healthcare and IT. When selecting funds, he usually spends much time evaluating the fund’s AUM, historical pattern, the fund manager’s experience and the fundamentals of the stocks in the holding. His portfolio generated 7.4% and 12.1% returns in 2020 and 2021, respectively, encouraging him to step forward in investment research and become a professional.He joined Haitong International Securities as a Graduate Analyst in Equity Research Department in August 2023, covering the Consumer Discretionary sector.
