I believe that to make a job into a career, you have to love what you do.I am a very detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven individual with a variety of different workplace experiences under my belt. Whether it be installing hardwood flooring, configuring audio/visual (AV) systems, or simply stocking grocery shelves, I always try to give my absolute best when it comes to my career.Currently, I am with the State of Tennessee as an Unemployment Claims Agent. By providing customer focused services and working with my peers to grow in my career, I can ensure that I am not wasting the life I was given. Everyone falls on hard times at some point in their lives, and being able to be a helping hand to those in need brings me great joy. When I’m not at work, you’ll find me spending time with my beautiful wife, creating new art, or hanging out with my friends online. A work-life balance is very important to me and with opportunities like Remote Work, I am able to complete my daily tasks efficiently while also skipping a couple of hours in traffic that can be spent with my family and/or friends. I like to stay busy, so down-time is wasted time.I have dealt with ADHD, ADD, and OCD for most of my life. Although they are labeled as disabilities, I have learned that doesn't mean they have to be a hindrance. With these, I have come to be a hyper-focused, exuberant, and creative individual. I have loved creating art since I was just a child, and these traits have only helped to improve upon that passion. I hope to be able to use my disabilities to make a career-life that I can look back on and be proud of.
