I am a Finance student at The University of Texas at Austin, expected to graduate in 2027. I have been working as a cashier at Brookshire Grocery Company since May 2021, where I have developed core competencies in communication, attention to detail, and customer service. I am also a member of Phi Chi Theta, a professional business fraternity that focuses on professional, philanthropic, and social aspects of business.As a cashier, I have been responsible for efficiently and accurately processing customer purchases at the checkout counter, as well as ensuring that groceries made it to customers' vehicles. I have also performed the roles of a self-checkout attendant and a courtesy clerk, demonstrating my versatility and adaptability. I have effectively carried out these tasks in a fast-paced environment, while delivering prompt and courteous service and adhering to store policies and procedures. I have also partnered with my colleagues and managers to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers and a smooth operation of the store. I am motivated by the opportunity to learn new skills and contribute to the success of the organization. I believe that I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as well as a strong work ethic and a passion for business.
